The Department of Communication Disorders (ComD) offers an undergraduate pre-professional major in audiology and speech-language pathology, as well as a master’s degree in speech-language pathology. Education Degree
Our undergraduate and graduate degree programs prepare teachers to be knowledgeable and competent leaders in their chosen educational field. The curricula included here are basic studies that either prepare the student for work in the educational system or provide a strong foundation for moving into a bachelor’s degree program. In addition to the initial certification program, our education students can choose to simultaneously complete the Pennsylvania Department of Education’s requirements for special education certification.

Teachers who wish to increase their skills for advanced certification requirements or other professional objectives can complete a Doctorate in Education or Doctorate in Curriculum and Instruction to help them achieve leadership roles and earn higher pay.

The UF Online Bachelor of Science in Health Education & Behavior degree program provides students with training on how to promote healthy lifestyle choices in individual and group settings, with special attention given to diversity and culturally appropriate health education methodologies.

Secondary Education Degree

Education is very extensive field and provides you several diverse opportunities. CCU’s B.A. in Elementary Education degree (licensure) is designed for adult students nationwide and abroad (see exclusions below) who wish to obtain a Bachelor of Arts degree and a teaching license that allows them to teach kindergarten through sixth grade in public, international, private, and public charter schools.

Early Childhood Education Teaching students at Ferris State University, including our early childhood education degree participants, study in more than 170 different college educational programs – including doctorate degrees, masters degrees, bachelor’s degree early childhood education and associate teaching degree programs.

Most schools have middle school teachers with specific expertise areas such as biology or music. High school teachers almost always teach a specific area of study. They will also understand how to use the data, in conjunction with various computer systems and programs, to create visual representations of where the school system is and where it is going.

Programs in associate and diploma studies in subjects as varied as criminal justice, industrial engineering technology, computer Repair, computer specialist, veterinary technician, floral design, medical coding and billing are also offered in the distance education system.

This secondary English MAT program includes courses in the foundations of teaching, instructional planning and presentation, English content, research, and pedagogy. Counseling: Teachers taking the education specialist degree program with a concentration in counseling have the opportunity for advanced training and study in specialized areas of interest, such as individual, group or family clinical counseling.
This is typically the area where teachers study for continuing work into the doctoral programs. Online Ph.D. degree is the highest level online degree in education.
